Jane has written over 50 episodes of the UK’s most-watched hour and half-hour dramas. Her work has been nominated at the British Soap Awards and, as part of the writing team for THE BILL, won the Writers’ Guild Award for Best Soap/Continuing Drama. Having turned her focus to developing authored drama, Jane has worked with some of the top independent producers in the UK, including Rollem, Carnival and Kindle Entertainment. She was selected for the MediaXchange’s Advanced Writing Course – which culminated in a week’s masterclasses in LA – and is currently developing drama series TEETH, TITS AND WORLD PEACE and comedy SING. She has also just finished producing and directing the pilot episode of THEY THEM US, an 8 x 30’ returnable LGBT+ drama which has been picked up by OUTtv in Canada. Jane has made two award-winning short films as writer/director: DANCING ALONE won Best British Drama at the Discover Film Awards in London (2017) with Jane also Best Actress in a lead role; and high-concept psychological thriller TAKE ME BACK, which won Best Editing at the London Independent Film Awards and Best Cinematography at Catfish Shorts.
